Anonymity
Submissions are anonymous to Facebook group members. They are not anonymous to authorized GACC reviewers, who can see your email address and Facebook profile URL for verification purposes.
Data collected
- Email address (encrypted at rest)
- Facebook profile URL (encrypted at rest)
- Submission content and optional private reviewer context
- Consent timestamps and policy versions accepted
- Hashed IP identifiers for abuse prevention (not raw IP addresses)
How data is used
- Email verification and status notifications
- Manual membership verification by GACC staff
- Moderation, approval, and publication decisions
- Abuse prevention and audit records
- Temporary reply access management when offered
Retention
- Unverified submissions: removed or anonymized after 24 hours
- Declined submissions: retained 30 days
- Withdrawn submissions: retained 30 days
- Published submissions: retained 90 days after reply access ends
- Audit records: retained longer without unnecessary personal data
Your rights
You may request withdrawal of your submission before publication by using the secure link in your status emails or contacting GACC directly. Authorized administrators may anonymize personal data while retaining minimal moderation records.
